My name is Brendan Greenstreet and I am a resource special education teacher here at Harbour Pointe Middle School. This will be my 6th year teaching, but I have had over ten years experience in the fields of education and behavior. Seven of those years were spent as a 1:1 paraeducator in the Lake Stevens High School Structured Learning Center and the final three years were running the behavior program in a school of 1500+ 8th and 9th graders. Prior to working as a para, I was a behavior technician for BMAC, a residential counselor at a series of group homes for behavioral youth and young sex offenders, and started off as a dorm-parent/dorm-parent assistant at a private boarding school for students with learning disabilities in Southern Illinois.
I look forward to our continued partnership, and if I have not worked with your family yet, I'm excited to meet with you and begin our work together!
Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, watching Formula 1 racing, photography (I'll put some of my favorites below), collecting vinyl records, and travelling (among other things). I have been to over 20 different countries and have performed clarinet and saxophone with the Edmonds-Woodway Jazz Band, Cascade Youth Symphony Orchestra, and Bellevue Community College Jazz Band in about 8 different countries in addition to Lincoln Center in New York City.
If you don't already know, you'll soon find out that my wife and I are pretty obsessed with our adorable idiot of a cat, Reese. Right now, we are even more obsessed with our four year old son, Oliver.
Oliver!
